Light Touch Rehabilitation was founded in 2006 by Dr. Lior Farkash DC, who was later joined by Boris Katz, PT. Light Touch Rehabilitation is a rapidly growing company located in Bloomfield, NJ. Light Touch Rehabilitation has been differentiating itself from other clinics with its experienced rehab professionals, state of the art facilities, and an outcome driven approach to get patients back to function.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve health by providing affordable, accessible care in the community. As the healthcare landscape changes and becomes more complicated, Light Touch Rehabilitation simplifies the process of searching and finding an expert in musculoskeletal health by accepting most insurances as well as offering affordable rates to the uninsured. For the second year, Light Touch Rehabilitation has been providing free group exercise classes at senior citizen homes as part of our community outreach program. Since the start of this program many participants and their building managers reported reduced incidents of falls.
Our Approach
At Light Touch Rehabilitation, our therapists practice a manual approach. Our clinicians exhibit excellent manual skills and are trained in myofascial release, trigger point technique, and craniosacral therapy. Our patient’s progress is accelerated through the practice of manual therapy in addition to the use of modalities and therapeutic exercises.
